Engineering & Technical Services

Cruz Associates provides engineering technical services across all Army Special Operations Aviation aircraft and subsystems. Cruz established the system safety program currently used in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

Cruz’s additional technical services include organic troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to develop Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs) and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs).

  • System Safety
    Cruz supports all facets of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment’s system safety program, including the development of risk assessments on fielded and future systems. Cruz Associates plays a critical role in the airworthiness process for all aircraft systems and mission equipment packages. Cruz Associates also serves as an integral member of any accident investigation board.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis Group (TAG)
    Cruz’s TAG services include the development of system/sub-system level functional diagrams. Cruz also conducts troubleshooting of aircraft avionics, communications, navigation, electrical, sensors, electronic countermeasures, flight control, power train control/indication, power plant and weapon systems.
  • In-Service Engineering
    Cruz’s areas of expertise include integration, testing, production, condition-based maintenance and configuration management.
  • A/MH-6M Field Service Representative (FSR)
    Cruz’s A/MH-6M FSR provides unparalleled subject matter expertise to the 160th Special Operations Little Bird community. In addition to onsite support, the Cruz FSR directly coordinates all technical information pertaining to operations and maintenance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of all component parts.
  • Digital Integration Maintenance Environment (DIME)
    Cruz’s DIME provides Maintenance Technology solutions and field support services across USASOAC's sustainment software and hardware systems.  The DIME's core functions include:  beta testing, data management, software development, software integration, software training, hardware support, and property management.
