Scope of Performance: This position is that of a Transportation Management Specialist, Ordnance Storage/Shipment Branch, Naval Surface Warfare Center, IHEODTD.  The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties within the Shipping Office to meet the transportation requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow traffic management policies and practices in accordance with DOT and DOD regulations

Scope:  The Flight Test Engineer (FTE) support shall be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of developmental flight test that supports research and advanced concept programs that support aviation initiatives for ADD, the Army, Government agencies, and the defense industry. The FTE shall coordinate and execute ground and flight test or test related activities for the various research and development activities. The FTE will coordinate test efforts with acquisition agencies including Program Management offices, TRADOC System Managers, contractors, and the user community.   Additionally, FTEs may act as Test Directors and supervise flight test programs and all test flight activities on assigned projects and programs. FTEs shall collect, reduce, and analyze data from ground and flight tests, and report on testing activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform flight engineer test duties both from ground test control locations as well as collection of data in flight in multiple aircraft types.
  • Coordinate and execute ground and flight testing or test-related activities for various research and development activities to include: airfield or off-site testing activities, test program management, project test support, and program management for test activities.
  • Act as Test Directors and supervise flight test programs and all test flight activities on assigned projects and programs.
  • Collect, reduce, and analyze data from ground and flight tests, and report on testing activities.
  • Author test plans and formal test reports, rendering judgments regarding the relative merits of the tested aircraft or system and making recommendations relative to the intended military mission.

Scope of Performance: The Help Desk / Field Technician is a strategic technical position within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of customer’s hardware and software systems within DoD standards, along with handling incoming technical support calls and tickets. The Help Desk / Field Technician is responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of aviation supported Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) software products including demonstrating correct usage and application to the customers. Responsibilities:

  • Perform field service activities by installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and servicing Army supported systems at customer sites.
