Responsibilities:

Job Summary: 

Kokua Support Services is currently seeking a senior MH-47 Production Planner as a technical liaison between the U.S. Army Technology Applications Program Office (TAPO) and the aircraft manufacturer, The Boeing Company, to ensure all aspects of production are executed to high cost, schedule, and quality standards.

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a current in-depth knowledge of program requirements, technical issues, and challenges.
  • Keep TAPO informed of vendor progress and analyze any potential production problems or issues.
  • Coordinate with the MH-47 PMO, TAPO Mission Equipment, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and the vendor to determine the best course of action in terms of benefit to the Government.
  • Conduct reviews and analyses aimed at improving production efficiency and reduce cost and schedule risk to the Government.
  • Maintain cognizance of upcoming modifications and provide TAPO with recommendations for implementation based on lessons learned on current and past efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience working in military aviation in positions related to maintenance, production, and flight testing.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with the MH-47 aircraft.
  • Able to facilitate communication and possess an in-depth understanding of all technical and programmatic aspects of the production and modification process.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or 5 years experience as a US military rotary wing aircraft pilot in the MH-47G is highly desired.
